When considering language choices it is important to consider the level of language that has previously been studied. The IB course chosen must be appropriate and challenging for the learners.
Learners cannot take ab initio courses if they have significant experience in the language already. They also cannot take a language at 'B' level if their language level is too high. Language teachers will advise on this.
It is possible for learners to do two 'A' languages instead of a language acquisition course.

Environmental Systems & Societies is an interdisciplinary course that satisfies the demands of Group 3 and Group 4
The IB have made changes to the ESS, Sports Science and Computer Science courses for next academic year so there will be some changes to these guides.
